*Job Description*
- Manage all documentation to ensure the project complies with regulations, remains on schedule, and stays within budget while monitoring all associated costs.
- Obtain, assemble, distribute, and file all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.
- Schedule projects in logical steps and allocate time required to meet deadlines effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships critical to the success of the project and the company.
- Track and analyze data to minimize gaps between estimates and actual costs.
- Obtain and track subcontract bids and negotiate budgets.
- Prepare and present estimate documentation, including identifying gaps in available data.
- Create estimates for multiple delivery systems and review quotes and estimates with the project management team.
- Assist with post-bid buyouts.
- Initiate and participate in meet-and-greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.
*Ideal Candidate*
- A 4-year college degree in engineering or construction management is desirable.
- 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably in commercial, multifamily, or mixed-use construction. Field experience and project engineering are a plus.
- Proficient in On-Screen Take-Off and Timberline estimating software, or similar applications.
- Experienced in MS Excel, FTP sites, document distribution, storage, and records management.
