*Job Description*
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for light industrial construction projects by thoroughly analyzing architectural plans, specifications, and site conditions
- Evaluate bids and purchase offers, factoring in site requirements, project modifications, and cost variations to ensure accurate budgeting
- Identify and resolve cost discrepancies, maintaining financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and present comprehensive project budgets, financial reports, and detailed cost breakdowns to senior leadership and project managers
- Create and submit competitive bids for light industrial construction projects, aligning with project goals and client expectations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project estimates and adherence to design specifications
- Participate in client meetings, pre-construction reviews, and team collaboration sessions to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project costs and timelines
- Provide expert guidance on project cost management, optimizing resource allocation to improve financial outcomes and project efficiency
*Ideal Candidate*
- 5+ years of experience in Estimating, ideally within the light industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse construction sector
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimating, and experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Familiarity with contracting processes, negotiation strategies, and legal considerations specific to industrial construction projects
- In-depth understanding of facility design, construction methods, and project scheduling logic, specifically in light industrial facilities
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets, resolve cost discrepancies, and present clear financial data to senior leadership
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with a focus on collaboration and delivering high-quality project outcomes
